Deploy an app you built with Cursor, Windsurf or Claude Code

Updated 23 October 2026 · about 10 minutes

These tools build your app on your own computer. To put it on the internet, the code needs to be on GitHub. From there, Utplava builds it, adds a database if it needs one, and gives you a live link.

Works with: Next.js apps, Node.js apps with a start script, and static sites with a build script. If your app uses PostgreSQL, Utplava can create the database for you.

Steps

  1. Put your project on GitHub

Cursor or Windsurf: open Source Control (the branch icon in the left bar) and choose Publish to GitHub. Pick a private repository if you don't want the code public.

Claude Code: ask it: "Create a private GitHub repository for this project and push it." It uses git and the GitHub command-line tool, and will ask you to sign in to GitHub if needed.

Before you push, make sure your .env file isn't included (it should be listed in .gitignore). You'll add those keys in Utplava instead, where they're stored encrypted.

  2. Sign in to Utplava

Open utplava.vercel.app and continue with GitHub.

  3. Give Utplava access to the repository

Tap New app, then Manage GitHub access, and add your repository if it isn't already shared. GitHub doesn't include new repositories automatically.

  4. Analyse and deploy

Choose the repository and tap Analyse project. Utplava works out the build, and lists any settings or API keys your app reads so you can add them. When it says Ready to deploy, tap Deploy.

  5. Open your link

In a few minutes your app is live at your-app-name.utplava.dev, with HTTPS.

Keep building

Carry on in your editor as usual. Whenever you push to the main branch (or ask your agent to "commit and push"), Utplava redeploys automatically and your current version stays online until the new one is ready. You can switch this off per app with Deploy on push.

If something doesn't look right

"Unsupported project"

Utplava looks for a package.json with a build or start script at the top of the repository. If your app lives in a subfolder or has neither, ask your agent to add one.

The deploy failed

Open the app in Utplava and expand Deployment details to see why. Paste the reason into your agent, let it fix the code, and push. The redeploy happens on its own.

Still stuck?

Email contact@dealup.co.in with your app's name. A real person will help you get it live.

Coming soon: just tell your agent

We're opening Utplava's MCP server, so you'll be able to say "deploy this to Utplava" inside Claude, Cursor or VS Code and get a live link back without leaving your editor.
